Recently, I was approached on Facebook by a young man seeking a web development internship. He shared with me his story of how he had always been interested in coding and had taught himself some basic skills. However, he was struggling to find an opportunity to gain real-world experience and hone his craft. As I listened to his story, I couldn't help but relate to his struggles as I too had been in a similar position about a year ago. I was impressed by his determination and willingness to learn, so I offered to connect him with some contacts in the industry and provide him with some resources to help him in his job search.

A simpler explanation though is that he had a GF that did not want him talking to a random seemingly persistent female online... who knows...
